Recently, we had the opportunity to carry out the repair of a boiler that uses wood chips and pallet remnants as fuel. The furnace reaches a maximum temperature of 1,100-1,200°C.
The scope of our services included the supply of top-quality materials and highly specialized labor to ensure optimal results. In this case, it was necessary to demolish the affected lining due to a puncture. Water had penetrated all layers of the lining, so a complete demolition and cleaning of the area were carried out.
We installed high-alumina dense bricks of MULL-60-R quality in the first layer of the refractory lining, T-26 insulating bricks in the second layer, which have a higher temperature rating, and T-23 in the third layer. Finally, an insulating plate was placed to minimize the temperature on the cold face.
A portion of the wall, as can be seen in the images, was constructed using dense concrete. After cleaning the entire area, we added metal anchors and installed the dense concrete. We also performed repairs on a damaged section of the vault.
