Our constant evolution of technologies applied to ceramic engineering leads us to design new types of refractory coatings. Each of these designs is applied based on various factors that are evaluated at our customers’ facilities, together with the technical information they provide us.
This 3D animation shows the construction of a VEX kiln car, which uses a technology with only 8 pressed pieces located at the corners, the rest is all extruded. With an average density of around 960 kg/m³, it departs from old and heavy wagons, improving energy efficiency.
For a wagon height of 320 mm in steady-state at a firing temperature of 900 °C, we have the following wagon characteristics:
Maximum load: 1,500 kg/m²
Maximum temperature: 1,000 °C – 1,150 °C
Heat loss: 652 W/m²
Accumulated heat: 200 MJ/m²
With over 400 references worldwide and an important department of molds and nozzles, we can meet any dimensional requirement of the wagons.
