This type of low thermal mass carriages have to withstand thermal shocks much more accentuated than the kiln cars for structural ceramics. For this purpose, our R&D department has perfected materials in cordierite-mullite qualities with very low density, low thermal conductivity and high resistance to thermal shock.

The combination of low density and high resistance to thermal shock make these kiln cars an ideal solution for the sanitary ware and porcelain sector, since in addition to withstanding the working conditions, they lower the energy consumption of the kiln.
