  • This was an 8-hour course during which a variety of areas were discussed, including:

SCENARIOS AND ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF A “P.A.S.” EMERGENCY

  • In the practical classes the following issues were addressed:

Creation of different types of knots
Use of PPE
Placement and use of ABE
Full access simulation and a confined space according to procedure: permits, atmospheric assessment, placement of protective equipment, access, continuance, external monitoring, exit
Installation and use of lifelines and access systems as well as provisional and permanent assessments (tripods, fork supports, etc.)
Use of permanent lifelines
Use of anchor points: permanent and/or mobile
Self-securing techniques
Assessment and rescue techniques
Emergency simulation: P.A.S.
