Using the grey and ductile furnaces close to its plants, the technical department of TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS is developing refractory concrete and linings specially adapted to cast-iron conditions.
The new, improved PYROFORM SGC-60/G refractory concrete has been developed especially for manual use in cast iron cauldrons, ladles and gutters.
The photos below show how this concrete is applied in a cauldron (photo on the left) and the state of the concrete after casting it more than ten times (photo on the right).
