TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS OPEN ITS DOORS TO FUTURE ENGINEERS OF MATERIALS

```*   As usual, TEIDE REFRACTORY SOLUTIONS the company opens the doors to students of the last year of promotion 2013 – 2017 of materials engineering of the Faculty of chemistry of the University of Barcelona (UB).

*   The visit intends to show the future workers, how works a refractory company and its production processes, how to design refractory castables (autocolables, thixotropic, gunitables), and other types of refractory materials such as paints and mortars.

*   The concern of the students on the operation of the refractory was resolved with a simple practice at the end of the visit, where the materials students could mix and perform different types of refractory castables, to understand the final use of them.
